The ARCHIVE : Firefighters rescue toddler stuck in loo seat

UK -- High Wycombe firefighters were faced with a tricky rescue operation this lunchtime after a toddler got a toilet seat stuck on his head.

The young boy and his mother walked into the station in St Mary Street at around midday asking for help.

Firefighters said the boy, who was about three-years-old, had been playing around with the child's toilet seat when he pulled it over his head, where it got stuck.

Crew members from blue watch used a pair of cutters to remove it. The youngster was then treated to a tour of a fire engine and left the station "happy as Larry".
